Suggestions for improvement

  • Better support for working from home and flexible hours. Right now the official policy is that it is up to each division to decide on an individual basis, but a statement of general support for working from home and/or keeping flexible hours whenever possible would be helpful.

What I like about the company

I have always felt supported, encouraged and valued by everyone here, from the CEO to the Maintenance staff and everyone in between. We are all working to improve outcomes for children and the passion is infectious. I have no direct patient contact, yet I feel like I am making a difference and am part of something much bigger than myself.

What I dislike about the company

I wish they would do better at differentiating between clinical and research operations. Some of the policies that make sense for clinicians are restrictive on the research side and vice versa. That being said, the recent initiative to review all positions in the hospital to ensure all job titles are reflective of the work being done, may lead to better distinction between clinical and research.
