While the company is good to work for, I believe that the CEO doesn't make all good decisions for his employees.
Too much back tracking with procedures and not be notified of viable information at times and it makes us look incompetent.
Office / Work Environment
Certain satellites are lacking in comfortable working environments.
There could be improvements.
I'm a glorified phlebotomist when is should be a Medical Laboratory Technician. Not much in the way of technical at all.
Suggestions for improvement
- Our CEO is more of a business person rather than a medical person, and therefore he builds and builds and builds and makes cut backs that effect the very employees that have led to the success of the company. They don't match your 403b, the insurance premiums are higher, they have cut back on contributions towards an HSA, they tried taking away our EIB, maked promises that keep going out farther and farther into the future, that one would never see it in well past their retirement....the list can go on and on. The company is definitely not the company that it was when I was first hired and I feel that in some regard, it is our CEO. He might need to go.
What I like about the company
The satelitte that I work for is convenient for where I live. My coworkers are nice and down to earth and we support each other.
What I dislike about the company
I feel like there are way too many meetings that take people away from sites that are already short staffed and they make decisions without having proper representation that effect the very department that they are making decisions about. They need people with the experience sitting in on these meetings so that they can get their input on these decisions that could be effecting the very department in which they work.
