We have meetings to learn how to work together and be honest when needed.
Freedom to work independently
Most of the time we are encouraged to work independently and sometimes my boss can does a little micromanagement.
We are kept up to date with daily emails in my department especially during this time of Covid 19
Definitely my company treats women equally with men and in fact has a large female Workforce

My company values its older workers and provides updates about future retirement.
They offer tuition reimbursement and there is a lot of opportunities for advancement.

Office / Work Environment
I work in an older building but most of the time it takes a comfortable work environment
They provide recycle bins all over hospital and are trying to use recyclables in cafeteria also.
My boss always works with me so I can take time off if needed.
We do a lot of important work helping children and I extremely proud to work at Children’s Hospital.
It is an older hospital but they do all they can to accommodate people with disabilities
We have to do safety learning yearly to have a safe work environment.
Some days are challenging but I feel very comfortable in my work.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would remodel our department since I think it is a little outdated.
What I like about the company
My kids have been patients here do I have seen things from the other position and have so many positive experiences. The people who work here are truly caring and committed to helping children and the surrounding community.
What I dislike about the company
I think they should offer free parking to their employees.
