Career development is slow.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to inject outside, objective knowledge of technical excellence, best coding practices/techniques/patterns, etc. Internal code reviews/awards do improve code quality, but they are inherently incestuous.
What I like about the company
Good work/life balance.
What I dislike about the company
There is a lack of focus on technical excellence. People care about looking good to management, but not about improving their coding skills.
