On paper the culture seems good. In practice it is a drain on your morality and sense of worth. Management sees personelle a disposable. I you don't fit in the little box your given. Shape up or they will show you the door
Support from management
Leadership is out of touch with rank and file. The treatment of subordinates is borderline emotional abuse. There is little disregard for the human element in human resources
Everyone has their role and any deviation to collaborate is looked down upon and seen as weakness. There are good people who know how to work together but are stifled by managemet
It's a private company. They don't need to communicate much to there people. And they don't
Office / Work Environment
Environment is great!!!! Until the chains are put on You at the desk, Good luck tryin to get personal things done and making up time later..... No room for adult like self monitoring here. You need to be watched every second your there
It's not rocket science. But your boss sure thinks so.
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat people like adults and make an investment in every employee that walks through that door. Learn how to foster a real company culture and not some wannabe boiler room accounting shop. Learn that diversity doesn't just mean different religions an color of skin. But also different experiences, ways of working, temperaments, and knowledge.
What I like about the company
I liked the work. Was at least interesting. Their accounting platform was good to work with. Made the job easier. Location was great as were the little perks. Pay was competitive.
What I dislike about the company
For some reason management holds Onto "leaders" that absolutely trash their staff. It is shameful to a company of that caliber to either ignore a toxic environment or be completely oblivious to the fact it exists. You are strapped to your desk during working hours. And time taken for doctors dentists family are looked poorly upon. No matter if all your work is done or if you are making that time up or more. Mind you this is even during the down times and with work that is not under deadline. Be sure to really look at what you want before working for them. There is a reason they are always hiring...... And it's no longer growth. They could have staffed themselves 2x over with the amount of qualified staff let go or who left for many numerous reasons easily fixed by a talented leader. And their recent leadership change is more of the same.... Not an improvement
