Attitude towards older colleagues
I was with the company 10 years, they sent us all home to work from home, I was a top producer in sales, before they took that away from us, they fired most of us and lied in unemployment hearing. They use you up and throw you away, no company loyalty. The fat cats in NY make all the money and the little call center workers are in full firing squad range and get treated like crap, we had bonuses taken away, then sales, then Legacy Citi Cards only to return to Sears sales and crappy, abusive customers which we were supposed to sup up to no matter how verbally abusive they were, I literally am so happy that I do not work there anymore. Management was not very good either, not trained well, managers would talk to me about other team members, not professional at all.
I was also older and made more money and my insurance was higher so they made up scenario to get rid of me and lied about it in hearing.
Suggestions for improvement
- Better management training. Better treatment of employees, they currently are having to pay millions out for asking us to log on the phones on our own time and not paying us. I was in sales and sold ethically but they had lots of compliance issues and this is why they took sales away.
