Not many division supervisor positions open and lateral transfer was nearly impossible

Tried to make it comfortable as possible, but usually indoor facility was too warm in summer

  • Offering full time status and benefits (plus longevity pay) to employees.

What I like about the company

I enjoyed the relationships I built with employees and the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately with little chance of advancement into division supervisor position and no way to gain official full time status (despite working 40hrs/week) or benefits it was not something to make a career from.

What I dislike about the company

Division managers were not open to my suggestions about budget until a few years after I quit. I also did not like not having full time status or benefits. Left little incentive to stay with a company despite having been there over 10yrs. I had hoped there would be value in my tenure and room to advance but it did not happen.
