There is a lot of support and training as well as opportunities to move up. Some positions deserve better pay though

- Improve time off & raise pay of paras
What I like about the company
It's a community. As an aide I'm learning about classroom management and curriculum planning techniques that could help me advance to classroom teacher. The city provides professional development training & classes to advance your career in the school systems. Everyone helps each other out & has positive relationships in and out of school. There's a little flexibility for working parents.
What I dislike about the company
Paras and aides get paid very little compared to teachers or other faculty & we do so much. Paid time off is scant (3 personal days a year).
