Suggestions for improvement

  • The ability to adapt & willingness to change at an administrative level. The fear of loss of total control by my boss makes the department behind in technology among other things as a result of his unwillingness to allow the employees to peak to their full potential. Trainings to stay current & advance in our profession are a must not only to be able to do our jobs accurately & effectively, but to stay safe & be able to return home at the end of every shift.

What I like about the company

My job is one for a select few. If it's for you, you will know right away. If it's not, get out soon as you can so you don't waste the valuable time of your life.

What I dislike about the company

Trainings to advance an employee are not allowed unless my boss has a vision of his own for it. It is not always in the best interest of the department but instead what fits into the best interest of the boss. We have lost amazing employees as a result, those that really could have benefitted our department had they been given the opportunity. My boss has a fear of loss of control & therefore maintains the department at a functioning level that he can micromanage.
