Support from management
Not necessarily. I was told this was a learning practice. However, management was misleading and my two yearseparate became a sink or swim scenario
High turnover due to questionable mis-management. Assistants work well together to make the best of most situations.
Freedom to work independently
Yes. Daily doctor assignments and personal knowledge of the industry make life easier..
The protocol for standard operating procedures is always in question due to the lack of reinforcement or accountability. The office manager only works part time and does not oversee the operation well.
Absolutely. It's a female dominant field...
Attitude towards older colleagues
Very little training is available. And no orientation was provided .
Overall compensation for your work
Barely. After one year you do receive a week's vacation. Also health benefits are mediocre.
Office / Work Environment
Yes. All is conducive for a small practice.
Long hours due to understaffed days and high turnover.
Stable , but short sighted. No.room for advancement.
Without protocols daily violations occur with pharmacy and performances from colleagues.
Primary care was quite rewarding.
Inclusive / Diverse
