Established in 1917, and still living in the past. Proudly American Made....... in China and Korea.
Suggestions for improvement
- Your PCs, software, telephone systems, databases, etc. are all at least 10 years out of date. The computers are down WAY too much for a profitable company to excuse, and the I.T. people have no incentive to fix anything quickly. It was embarassing. The big development to get a company website arrived at least 10 years later than it should, and then it still didn't work well.
What I like about the company
Company events were well-planned and inclusive.
What I dislike about the company
Behind the times in terms of: computer and phone systems, lack of social media relations, and on-the-job training. Little to zero positive feedback from supervisors; you'll only hear from them if you've made a mistake. Getting ahead or transferring up/ to another department is very difficult. There are no "sick days" - you use your vacation days. Clark likes to play up the U-S-A thing, so you would think ALL their products are made in the U.S., but only a very small amount of specialty products are made in the U.S., the rest come from China and Korea, and thus there can be a very long wait time which upsets customers.
