Suggestions for improvement
- Empowering more people close to technology, software, project management, QC, architecture, and engineering to own the advance of these areas for the organization and avoid the typical death by committee when too many cooks are in the kitchen. Look the busy people that are making the money are also the people that have their finger on the pulse of the industry and company that can help advance the needs and training - stop having inept people run these areas to failure or just let them slip by the wayside. Use your employees in different ways to push them where they want to be pushed.
What I like about the company
Open work environment and people willing to help out. Communication and people that want to see the company succeed.
What I dislike about the company
Salary is low and not always competitive, they are slow to adopt higher salary rates. Disagreements between management of offices and operation expectations. Company experiences technology and software challenges and has improper people not close to the current industry making decisions negatively impacting operations and costing the firm in time and money. While a great effort was made to change the corporate culture, too much effort goes into flattening out the organization and there is management and responsibility gaps in operations causing pocketed issues - including project management problems.
