Culture consists of constant berating by owner especially of failures that are fault of his own.
Support from management
Clear Management was lacking. The employees kept it all going. Sometimes working 90 hours a week.
The team as in employees the three that there were worked very well together and supported each other through the negative insults and attacks by owner.
Office / Work Environment
Outdoors constantly with no where for cool air during summer months. Not enough employees to cover shifts because not enough profit was ever made. You were told you were there for retail but on day one you built and painted and nailed tables and various other landscaping ventures.
Same employees fired multiple times due to company having low sales ALWAYS. You could be fired for three months and then called to get your job back, but it wouldn't last long.
OSHA called several times.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diversity seemed to be valued as the staff appeared ethnically diverse. At second glance if your ears were open, you'd hear the owner talking negative on homosexuals, democrats, tattoos, and many other groups of people. He would called our Hispanic and Slavic crews all "Caesar"
What I like about the company
Getting hours was easy
What I dislike about the company
Getting hours was easy because staffing was so low. Sales were so poor but owner doesn't take or listen to anyone else's advice or ideas. No benefits offered
