Suggestions for improvement
- I would like to think that given the opportunity, consideration of personal issues would be more unilateral among employees with regard to the work life balance. I would also think that any workforce with such a high percentage of employees burdened with a language barrier would have programs in place to address the issue.
What I like about the company
Compensation is great for an unskilled position. The turnover rate seemed to be consistently high, so the company is more likely to hire.
What I dislike about the company
The Hispanic Spanish only speaking population is extremely high within the location where I worked. My start date was delayed on multiple occasions due to the inability of mgmt to provide me with someone who spoke enough English to properly train me. I don't feel as though fluency in English should be a handicap. I also observed a tendency within middle to upper mgmt to dismiss the concerns of English speaking employees in comparison to the compromises given to particular ethnic groups.
