Company Culture

No help from management

Support from management

None. Senior management could care less about the employees

Teamwork

Coworkers will not lift a finger to help anybody.

Freedom to work independently

You have to work independently when your management team doesn’t know how to do the jobs they’re supposed to be manageing.

There is no internal communication Employees are not told of changes or really anything.

They want the older hands gone as quickly as possible.

No raises. No 401k match. Insurance sky high and high deductible. No employee stock buying plan anymore.

Co-workers are great.

Support from management

Their expectations would be okay if they would just let their employees do their job.

Co-workers understand what needs to get done and help when necessary.

No. My supervisor believes it is her job to babysit her team.

No. They're usually laid off after a long period with the company.

Overall compensation for your work

It's awful. No raises in three years. No matching on 401k since 2016. Employee cost of medical insurance continues to increase.

Office / Work Environment

We are not located in the same building as HQ. We are in a building across the street, where employees need to dress for winter year round. I'm talking coats and gloves.

Environmental Friendliness

We have recycling bins. It's not a priority.

They are very good about PTO (personal time off).

Company Culture

The culture is dominated by wealthy white guys who care about how they look to their managers; as an employee, you're just someone to point the finger at by these guys.

Support from management

There is no support from management. Again, management is only there to use you as their excuse for poor performance.

Teamwork

Because everyone is overworked and underpaid, and because there is no real system in place to handle grievances, there is no teamwork. Every employee is just trying to cover their own butts.

Freedom to work independently

You will be micromanaged to the point of emotional disturbance. This is the CEO's signature.

Employees are the last to hear about any change, whether minor or major, and are not given any chance to input their ideas.

Because the company locked itself in to an industry dependent on the price of oil and gas, it depends on the sale of those products. They could care less about the environment.

This depends on where you're at within the company. InSite techs have 40 hour work weeks but if you're in Field Services, it could vary widely/

I'm embarrassed to be associated with this company. The CEO is more interested in his NASCAR sponsorship than his employees.

Job Security

Cutbacks are made yearly but if you can dodge the bullets, you'll have a job.

I've never witnessed any disabled people working for Clean Harbors.

Much lip service given to this issue because of insurance issues. From what I've witnessed, as long as no one is watching, it's all about, "Get Er' Done!"

I loved my work because I didn't have to answer to my boss. I worked with our client's management and loved what I did..

Plenty of diversity if you're willing to work two jobs in order to survive.
