Company Culture

Company Culture is bleak.

Support from management

They act like they support you, but when the chips are down they really don't.

Teamwork

You need teamwork....or you won't make it here. Have a lackluster person, and you go down on the ship with them.

Freedom to work independently

You work independently most of the time. Spot checks are performed daily, mostly on new employees, or if management doesn't like someone, or believes they are not doing well.

Internal Communication

Owners try to stay upbeat and positive. Unless they hear something from you they don't want to hear.

Gender Equality

They favor females because more of them apply.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Most older people can't do the job. Most older people are smart enough to steer clear of the place. If one does apply, management and many fickle youngsters will squeeze them out if they are too slow.

Career Development

If you can make it for a year, then I guess you can grow here. However, the main thing growing in this business is the owners bankroll.

Overall compensation for your work

Horrible. Low mileage reimbursement too.

Office / Work Environment

Most homes are good to work in. Some are a pigsty with nasty dogs.

Environmental Friendliness

They say the chemicals are green. I guess so.

Work-Life Balance

Either show up every day or get docked pay! You need to work a year before time off.

Company Image

Each franchise is different. One can be horrible, the other not so bad.

Job Security

If you clean fast and don't mind low pay, then you are secure. Otherwise forget it.

Handicapped Accessibility

Handicapped people probably should not work here. I guess a handicapped customer can maneuver around the main office if they want to. But why?

Workplace Safety

You find yourself working in bad conditions in the winter time. Ever try driving up and down mountain driveways in snow and ice, then lugging your supplies to the mansion door?

Challenging Work

Extremely challenging, especially if you get two or so mansions to clean in one day with a total hour allotment of 4.5 hours.

Inclusive / Diverse

They include everyone. They need to, or they won't have any applicants.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Not sure if it is possible here. Keeping long term employees is essential for success. That cannot happen here. Way too much turnover. Management needs to address the issue.

What I like about the company

You get to work independently. If you get on a good team, that makes your day a good one.

What I dislike about the company

Pay is not compatible with the workload. The main owner is a head case with a poor attitude and personality. He's too old to change now. Moral is low.
