Suggestions for improvement
- 1. It’s been way too long since we’ve been sailing without full resources. It’s definitely time to hire people we need to fill in critical roles. 2. Set goals for development. 3. Make plans for how to achieve those plans.
What I like about the company
While I’ve mentioned some potentially negative items, I do appreciate the positive. It’s a small company and there’s a small family feel to it. I do appreciate some of the company parties. Being with people you work with, free food, and activities can make for good times!
The benefits can great, too. And for some things that are lacking, it hasn’t been a terrible place to work. It’s very “chill.”
What I dislike about the company
The company needs motivation and direction. At least, in terms of what we are going to produce; setting actual goals would be great. We are limited on resources. However, I feel like we could really power through many goals with careful planning and goal setting.
Sometimes, I feel as though my department is neglected. And feedback from department members indicate the same. We don’t really feel like our work is fully treated with all the importance it actually entails. This portion would only be important for employee morale. I want this company to succeed. I want it to continue to enrich people’s lives. However, it’s a little hard to get everyone on the same page when your department feels as though it’s of limited importance.
