The culture that I got out of the 2 years that I was there was not what I expected. Rules change weekly and you were micro managed.
Support from management
I was in Management and the only time you got support from others is when you were behind on jobs or why your not selling buildings. Mainly they would call ask you what was going on, yell at you and tell you to fix it....
There was none, it was all about me. No help from others.
Freedom to work independently
Yes, you made your own hours.
THe Main office called you about twice or more times a week to see what you were doing or going to accomplish each week.
The only woman that worked there were secretaries... I didn't see any woman working in the field or as a manager.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Like I said it was all about I....there was no team
Overall compensation for your work
There was some profit sharing
Office / Work Environment
It was hard to go in to the office, mainly you would get yelled at by someone every morning
Sure management was friendly but they would stab you in the back in a second
The higher ups said there was a balance but believe me it was all about work. You never had time off and customers calling after 8pm daily. It was all work and no play!
You never knew day to day if you were going to be there
Yes it was
I have to say that all the safety equipment was in good condition and policies were strick
It was more repetition than challenging
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- Let management do there own thing
What I like about the company
Just being able to set your own hours
What I dislike about the company
Everything, there was no business structure, you are micro managed and it was not a fun place to be at.
