Working within a team seems to work, but trying to coordinate efforts on projects involving other teams can be a nightmare.
Top level communication about company performance, upcoming events, new clients, company initiatives is fine; communication between individual departments especially those working on the same project can be hit or miss, especially if involving overseas teams.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Lots of self-observed younger employees who too often focus on office politics rather than company goals.
Depends on the department: some career path options but not enough.
Suggestions for improvement
- There needs to be someone or a team that helps coordinate efforts on the clients' behalf involving all of the cleverbridge teams. Currently, each department fights for the client's attention and this leads to fighting other departments.
What I like about the company
It's a great company in an exciting field - ecommerce - and the culture is a lot of fun with an emphasis on team building and supporting each other.
What I dislike about the company
Despite the all the team building, there's a real disconnect between departments. Part of this involves the challenge of working with teams from the European office that has a different culture to deal with.
