CM's work climate emphasizes employee involvement with the overall direction and success of the company. Welfare of the employees and integrity of our customer experience are also highly valued.
Support from management
Leadership has always strived to keep everyone involved in the company's operations. New management system now being implemented shows that the leadership wants to keep improving and get everybody in the company to contribute all of their talents. Also great benefits here for the landscaping/outdoor living industry (health and dental insurance [even though owner not required by law to provide!!], Paid Time Off, Simple IRA with employer matching contribution, external training opportunities.
The company really values teamwork. Not just words on the company's philosophy statement, but you really see it with management getting involved on complex, large projects, and with projects being worked on by 2-3 different divisions.
Freedom to work independently
We are always encouraged to come up with solutions to challenges on our own. This company really values initiative and creative thinking.
The company does a great job trying to develop and implement systems and procedures to streamline internal communication and eliminate confusion. Not perfect, but aggressively trying to get better each and every day.

Office / Work Environment
Everyone is friendly and professional toward one another. Everyone really looks out for each other.
Company always considers ways to do our projects to minimize affect on the environment.
Company stresses this and is always willing to work with employees to balance needs of company with the welfare of the employees.
No layoffs ever that I know of or have ever heard of. Company is a seasonal business but employs all year round by finding stuff for everyone to do in the winter. Company emphasizes providing secure and stable jobs as a big reason for it to exist.
One floor with multiple entry ways
We have a very low level of accident occurrence. Multiple safety classes throughout the year and always a leadership priority
Inclusive / Diverse
Everybody treats everyone else equally. Work ethic and commitment are valued more than skin color or country of origin, etc.

What I like about the company
Efforts to engage employees with the purpose and strategic direction of the company. Excellent communication up/down and laterally in the company. Emphasis on providing the highest quality service to the customers.
