Everyone is very competitive! In order to make monthly bonus at our location the team has to work together but sometimes team members is so focused on money that they steal work from others to make more which reduces moral within the team.
Freedom to work independently
There are management however you are not micro managed.
No one is on the same page due to lack of communication and training from management teams.
This is a great place to gain experience however, there is no where to move within the company making it dead end.
Overall compensation for your work
Sometimes the goals are to hard to reach.
They waste lots of paper everyday by having team members do print screens to put in a box for drawings. Don't get me wrong I love getting gift cards but we go through a whole tree by end of the work day.
Schedules change all the time. (No Flexibility) You have to live to work at this job. Although it is not stated right away during hire; in order to make goal you will have to work overtime.
We have high turnover. I see lots of people come and go.
We have to get people to pay there bills and getting that can be overwhelming at times.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make the bonuses a little bit more attainable. If the bonus can be met it will make teams work even harder to get to them. Also everyone needs to be brought up to date and on the same page. it is very hard to work on other peoples accounts if the account manager was venturing on there own and different things are being told to the customer. Credibility is difficult when this happens.
- Also I know that the bbc department and other Collection staff could do this work from home. It would be a huge cost saving alternative. Lots of companies are starting to move that way because of the savings in office and supply costs. Not to mention an additional incentive to the employee. It would make it easer to work the schedules that your company is in need of as well.
What I like about the company
I love being able to interact with customers. We are not on a auto dial system which is nice. We manually dial out and take incoming calls. I think the pay is petty decent and competitive.
What I dislike about the company
The bonuses can be so hard to even get close to. I also don't like that the schedules are not flexible and change often making it imposable to live outside of work.
