The lower level coworkers are amazing, but the management isn’t attentive to anything going on in the office. There isn’t an actual culture conveyed by the management. Along with poor training modules and inconsistent information, the company has a long way to go to develop a positive culture in the company.
Support from management
Management was misinformed about how to do work properly
They tried to ensure a quiet work place focused on the individual tasks at hand
Freedom to work independently
They will leave you alone if they feel you know what you’re doing.
Communication is very poor with employees. Clear directive was not given
Attitude towards older colleagues
No. There was no room for growth
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation was poor compared to other companies
Office / Work Environment
Somewhat, there could be minor improvements
I wasn’t there long enough to establish this
No. There were always random firings and issues
Work wasn’t challenging but you had to figure a lot of important details on your own.
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- I would hold the management team to a hire standard of inclusion and diversity, possibly giving them quarterly trainings. There should also be better guidelines for advancement and maybe career maps developed for employees.
What I like about the company
The people that you work with are amazing and make the place worth being at. If you can get in the door, there may be other opportunities in various departments that you may enjoy. But you will have to move past the foolishness.
What I dislike about the company
I feel once the company learns how to properly train/hire upper management, they will have the potential to grow. The culture lacks warmth and acceptance on a management level and they don’t give proper guidance of how to excel in the workplace.
