Suggestions for improvement
- The company seems a little cheap when it comes to compensating its employees/teachers. There is plenty of unpaid time expected from the teachers for training and communication. For example, training sessions that are paid for only one hour can not be reasonably completed within that time (more like 1.5 to 2 hours) and -- more notably -- ongoing communication is expected via email and telephone, but not paid
What I like about the company
I knew it would be a low paying job with no perks, but I was staying home with my newborn when I took the job. My previous full-time employer would not work with me on a part-time or remote work basis. The nature of the work is rewarding and complements my current schedule nicely. I will eventually have to find higher paying work.
