Very apt to invite input from all levels, strong focus on employee growth.
Support from management
Could be better. Senior management can sometimes be indecisive on projects.
Clearly identified project roles, great collaborative environment!
Freedom to work independently
Almost entirely encouraged to do so! One of the key philosophies is that self-managed teams produce better quality.
With an almost entirely remote team, communications can get lost in the blur of day-to-day projects.
As a remote team, the company leaves a minimal carbon footprint. Likewise, staff are encouraged to use mass transit for meetings.
This may be more specific to upper management, but can sometimes run 12 hour days when crunching deadlines. Staff are definitely encouraged to find time to travel and utilize PTO though!
Suggestions for improvement
- Clarify long term goals, set clear KPI's to base growth decisions on.

Great environment, lots of flexibility in work styles, open to improvement ideas

Confusing senior management hierarchy tends to impact productivity on teams.
