This law firm has a very high turnover rate. When I worked there I was the 6th paralegal to sit in that particular seat in a 2 year period of time. As a paralegal in the office, the position was treated almost abusively. This position could have used three people sitting at the desk. There was so much work for one person to handle this job it was virtually impossible to do the job well. It was overwhelming at times. Until the company realizes this, and looks into how to improve their process, they will continuously have a high turnover rate
Suggestions for improvement
- See above answer. The powers that be need to have better open communication and have more of an open door policy. They could learn a lot from their employees if they would open up to the idea. I guarantee that they have lost many good employees that have previously worked for them and do not even know what they lost. It's very sad.
