all production position are below par. No 401k Match. Expensive health insurance that lacks good coverage.
job is secure as far as layoffs go. they expect you to work outragoes overtime in the spring and summer months. work slows to a crawl in the winter months.
Suggestions for improvement
- Company needs to focus on their culture and employees more. The company is run very lean but employees do not benefit from it. no fringe benefits or better overall compensation. They need to help the employees out on the retirement and benefits side of things otherwise there is no incentive to stay long term.
What I like about the company
The work isnt too bad but somewhat repetitive. Great co-workers.
What I dislike about the company
Total benefits Package is pretty well non-existant. No 401k match. Health insurance is expensive for families. You only get 1 week of vaction after a year which is below average in this field. pay is at the bottom end of the industry spectrum. No company allowance for boots or any ppe. Not elgible for production incentive for a year even though youre part of that team from day 1. Strict attendance policy. You feel like a convict if you call into work for any reason. The only way you can have a retirement from this company is pump your 401K full of your own money.
