Strong upper level management vision.
Support from management
Indecisive, and subject to change suddenly leads to inefficiency. This happens more than normal.
Often not able to perform as good as a team should because of logistics and poor scheduling.
Freedom to work independently
Could be a lot better than it is.
This is where this company fails. Work to be done here for sure.
Stuck where you are without an act og God.
Overall compensation for your work
The money is great, the work is hard.
Office / Work Environment
Very good but very harsh working conditions due to the nature of the industry.
No problems here, everyone is up to date on social media.
Most work overtime because they want to. It is not forced on anyone.
This company has earned a good reputation amongst the industry.
Fairly secure, never told if you are doing something wrong until it's too late.
This is a dangerous job in harsh conditions. They are safety concious on paper while very dangerous conditions exist in day to day operations.
The work is very challenging, both physically and mentally.
Inclusive / Diverse
No problems here.
Suggestions for improvement
- Local branches are spread too thin and manpower is not added until conditions are in trouble. It is very hard to find employees in this field that want to change companies, but it can be done.
What I like about the company
A lot of freedom to develop your own style of task completion. Good pay and benefits, and a pleasant working environment.
What I dislike about the company
Not enough structure in the organization. Often a sense of confusion in how to proceed with a task at hand. As in many other "for profit" companies there in inaccuracy in reporting time spent, therefore upper management does not see the real weaknesses in areas that need to be improved. Every thing looks good on paper because numbers have been manipulated to appear better than they actually are.
