Suggestions for improvement

  • give supervisors and managers more responsibility to make decisions without fear of reprisal instead of having day to day issues solved by committee which could stop production for hours or days. not to be afraid of letting people go that don't perform , follow procedures ,or exhibit a lack of work ethic .

What I like about the company

as lead extrusion operator they valued my input on scheduling and trusted my opinion on the best way to produce the product efficiently . I worked closely with engineering , management , maintenance , and quality control .it was very satisfying to be trusted with the responsibility running the extrusion department without being 2nd guessed on my decions

What I dislike about the company

lack of training for the production workers I believe in a good foundation and structured environment. when there were production issues I believe there were to many meetings to discuss the issues and not a proactive approach to fixing the problems. there were to many people in management who where afraid to take responsibility in case they failed . there were to many office politics and infighting instead of people working together
