Suggestions for improvement
- This is a tough question. I’m sure there some things that could be better, as there always is, but in my experience everything is up to the standards I think they should be.
What I like about the company
My company really cares about both its members and employees. Past jobs I’ve worked while going to school, like restaurant jobs- that wasn’t necessarily the case. Customers would be put first, which I don’t disagree with, but sometimes at the expense of the employees. Not this company. We believe that when employees are being treated right, getting noticed for accomplishments, and things like that - the high morale makes people motivated. They don’t dread going to work. And then they preform better which ultimately leads to making sure our members are well taken care of. The members stay loyal to the credit union and oftentimes tell their friends about their positive experiences. More members = more jobs and more opportunities for current employees. The company continues to get bigger, which can bring pressure, but through positive reinforcement and excellent leadership, you see employees from the top down to the bottom up, showing up every day and making sure business runs smoothly and members are satisfied.
