Suggestions for improvement
- I would reccomend a change in the way dress code is handled, if we have to have a certain dress code then it should be provided for us instead of a lengthy policy that is very limited. I would also recommend streamlining management, when there are too many people involved in management in one department it confuses things and makes it difficult for coherent policies, the whole "too many cooks in the kitchen" idea.
What I like about the company
While I am not directly involved I medical care I get to make a patient's visit as pleasant and easy as possible for them at the start of their visit. When they start with us we give them professional and friendly service so they are at ease when they go through for further services and that makes a difference to they're overall mindset and the outcome. It's not often noticed but it does matter. Even if we aren't medical we get to offer support to our patients and when they do notice and appreciate it, it is the best feeling in the world.
What I dislike about the company
Management level in the specific dept I work in is not ideal. Personal issues at home affect management and colors decisions made in house on a regular basis. It is often difficult to separate yourself at work from home which is understandable but people outside of the organisation cannot be responsible for decisions regarding employees.
