There was no feedback. Even when guidance was sought, the responses were it will be fine.
Suggestions for improvement
- Clear cut policies and procedures readily available to staff and incorporated into a structured orientation period. An orientation period that actually teach the new staff about the expectation and duties of their position and is assessed by a member of admin to identify any areas that need to be cleared up at that time. And a period of assessment in the first few weeks of work to ensure the new employee is what the company wanted and to ensure the new employee is not lost in the new company and duties. In this way improving proformances and increasing retention.
What I like about the company
The potential was there to influence and teach a new generation of health care workers.
What I dislike about the company
There was very little guidance, training, or feedback relating to the job description. Additional duties for which we were no trained and did not have a background in, were added without discussion. And management did not communicate with staff or each other in that one admin would approve something then another could give you a write up for it. Very inconsistent and unpredictable working environment .
