The leadership/culture in this business is the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. The lack of care, communication and empathy are VERY evident.
Support from management
POOR. Poor leadership. Poor communication. Poor support.
It depends on which team you are placed. Each team has different people and supervisors, if you have a few good people who know how to behave professionally they will give you a better work experience, but otherwise, everything is "ever man for himself" type mentality. Even towards the customers.
Freedom to work independently
They have a "clean desk" policy that is atrocious. No employee should be sitting in a cubicle feeling like they are in prison, not being allowed any personal items. Its a depressing environment. They have hired so many people who have NO INTEGRITY and would steal customer information and abuse their power, so they implemented HARSH policies (which people hardly abide by) that severely handicap good employees and make them feel like they are children who are being punished. I've never in my life experienced a call center (non customer facing) that so strictly policed wardrobes they fired people for wearing open backed shoes (which were dressy and professional)... but let women wear unprofessional bonnets and head wraps like they are going to walmart on their day off.
Horrible. You will as three different supervisors the SAME question and they will all give you conflicting answers. No manager is truly willing to help (as is their job) when call center agents are struggling with calls. They stand around and chat like it's a social event and act like they are "bothered" when asked to do their job.
It's a joke.
They will fire you in a minute because they will HIRE anyone with a high school diploma and no significant criminal background, regardless of integrity or fitness for the job.
