Support from Management
The supervisors were more like robots than humans due to the syrict rules set down by Verizon.

I like about the employer
Only good things were the other employees, not the management staff, but the regular hourly staff.
I dislike about the employer
It is customer serbice for Verizon, who gives very unfair and unrealistic goals for the random surveys. You have people mad because you won't give them ANOTHER credit, and they fail you, and Verizon tries to make it seem if you had sweetened the refusal even more, or said "i understand how you feel" for the fifth time, that the angry customers attitude would magically change and they would give you a passing score. It was very hard to get any surveys overturned, and each week your score fell below 89% you could get written up. i once got a 5(anything below 8 was a fail) because the guy had to wait to long to get someone on line. He even said as much in his recorded message. Was not overturned. I had another guy give me a 3 because he thought he was calling his bank. Was not overturned. I definitely do not recommend to set a goal for this to be a long term job. they fire very quickly over these surveys. and even less fair, you still get a write up for absences with doctors notes, the only concession they have is that they started lumping all days covered by note into one write up.
