In this department you are told what and when to do and if you do not like it, move on.
Management selects there successors. No climbing the ladder if not selected.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Should be gone, bring in younger cheaper.
They have a great career development program, but why, you don't move up unless they want you to.
Overall compensation for your work
Last two years there, no pay raise. Benefits are ok.
Office / Work Environment
Managers have all say, if you do not like it to bad.
As long as you work your scheduled hours. Dont use Vaca or Sick Days.
Image does not reflect reality, and HR backs management.
Not, Not at all.
Ramps into ground floor, then stairs or elevators from there.
In this group, no.
Suggestions for improvement
- Change your management style. Under old style I was happy to work many hours of overtime to get things done. Under new style Hours were 8am-5pm, Too bad.
What I like about the company
The old management style was way better, the employees mattered, and that gave them loyalty, respect, needed and they gave loyalty and respect.
What I dislike about the company
The new management style is bad. Company based, employees are replaceable assets.
