Suggestions for improvement

  • I would add discipline for hygiene. Also, find program coordinators whose firm but helpful to those actually out in the field.

What I like about the company

They were very flexible and you were able to advance rather quickly.

What I dislike about the company

I disapprove of the changes and the way things are handled from the high office personnel without the onsite managers approval or say so. Supervisors weren't backed up with their decisions and couldn't depend on office personnel to have their backs.

  • Staff getting rewarded for perfect attendance Staffs of the month Paid day off for their birthday Giving benefits to both FT & PT staff

What I like about the company

Working for CSS I’ve come along way with my college courses because i can relate to my job I’m so many ways. Taking college courses also helped with assisting my consumer.

What I dislike about the company

Staff doesn’t get acknowledged besides how long they’ve been working at CSS.

Company Culture

The company was very good with the clients themselves as far as having holiday parties annually.

Support from management

At times support was great, but mostly you were on your own.

Teamwork

It was hard to get help when asked, even with the simplest things.

Freedom to work independently

As you don't have much support from management, you mostly work independently.

Internal Communication

Communicated between management was very poor. It was so hard to get on the same page as everyone else.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Management seemed to favor certain employees at times.

Overall compensation for your work

Pay was pretty decent. Plus, you get paid overtime so working tons of hours is nice for the paycheck, but sucks if you actually want a life outside of work.

Work-Life Balance

Huge turnover rate leads to working tons of hours at a time.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Have more lines of open communication. Be more attentive to supervisors because they really are the backbone of the company as well as the direct care staff.

What I like about the company

I thoroughly enjoyed working with the consumers. They were the best thing about the job.

What I dislike about the company

Little support from management. Very poor communication.
