There are some excellent people at CRG. Unfortunately, they are few and far between and often keep their heads down when they see immoral or incorrect activity in the workplace so as not to get caught in crossfire.
Support from management
Very limited transparency unless you are part of the "good old boys club"
Colleagues are suspicious of each other, always checking over their shoulders to be sure no one else swoops in to steal their clients or takes credit for their work, which happens often.
Freedom to work independently
Full autonomy, but if anything goes wrong don't expect any support from the company
At a corporate level, London and Lis Angeles management disseminate a lot of good information. At a local level, many managers hoard information. There is a great respect for Machiavelli amongst US senior leadership.
Office / Work Environment
The office is nice
There is a feigned interest in social issues, mainly for marketing purposes. There is disdain for environmental causes.
Inclusive / Diverse
There are a couple of token women who earn less than their male counterparts. In the DC office they are more egalitarian but in other offices women are like annoying high-pitched shadows.
Suggestions for improvement
- Letting employees know they've done well.
What I like about the company
Excellent name and reputation
What I dislike about the company
Very opaque hierarchy, lots of smoke in mirrors and very little concern for employees as everyone is easily replaced.
