With over 100 years of ceramics experience, CoorsTek has led the development of more than 300 engineered ceramic materials. We helped develop the technical ceramics industry from our porcelain labware to leading solutions for virtually every industry sector. Our services at CoorsTek include: Research & Development, Customer Manufacturing and Design Assistance. At its core, CoorsTek provides custom ceramic and advanced material manufacturing solutions. Suggestions for improvement

  • More engineering support - I.e. hire more process and development engineers to better maintain and control the processes. The company needs a better system for growing employees into managers, so the managers better understand their processes, because they moved up in the company performing those processes. Better training processes to help teach people their positions more quickly and completely. The ability to cash in vacation time would be nice for those who don’t use the time.

What I like about the company

My manager is very supportive. I am able to take time off for personal issues without using PTO. I have been able to make some good personal contributions to benefit the company. The people I work with are good, hard-working people. They want to do a good job and need support from me. They are appreciative of my work to help them.

What I dislike about the company

Management needs to be more involved with day-to-day operations, so they u defat and the work and what is required of their employees. Department managers need to work together better to support the company and other employees. The company tried to do too much with not enough people. I would like to see more support personnel hired st the plant.

  • Having employee feed back on rates and having management be more involved with what is going on, on the floor.

What I like about the company

Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you if you need help.

What I dislike about the company

The lack of management. Also how rates are decided by engineers and not the people actually preforming the job at hand.

Its talked about but the general consensus is that only golden kids get the benefits

Depends on the department management ... there is a lot of micro management here

very little corporate updates even when you work at corporate. For facility and production workers, even less.

Theres a glass ceiling at this company, very few female leaders, tends to be the good old boys club

Not so much.... reliable, knowledgeable employees tend to be retired just before the required age and no thought to loss of knowledge is taken into consideration
