Employee reviews are completed on time with pay increases offered. It is easy to transfer between facilities and pick up extra shifts when necessary offering overtime

My first day of work I was welcomed by all staff and my last was sad because it felt as if I was leaving a family. This company will always look after their staff and have your best interest. They offer many benefits not only for the employee but for your family as well.

Employees don't like

I would say that they arent always there for their employees, but then again who really is? you can only do so much and please so many that eventually someone is going to get left out. They dont always take action when it comes to getting rid of bad seeds within the company that are causing a lot of things to decline within a group
MANAGEMENT AS A WHOLE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LOYALTY TO THE EMPLOYEES FROM MANAGEMENT, THEY DON'T TRUST YOU UNLESS YOU ARE OLD OR WHITE
Allow for staff to do the job and remove themselves from the office politics.
The company grew very fast and did not take the time to make sure it had a solid leadership infrastructure that could support the front line workers.
The management at my site is not the best or the most conducive to a good work environment. The companies HR department has received complaints about the manager and has not done anything to fix the solution as they are friends with the manager. Having an unbiased HR department willing to follow through on employee concerns would be beneficial.

Suggestions for improvement

Better communication with night shift employees with management. We shouldn’t have to rely on co workers to remember all of the new forms to be filled out. That have lives too and shouldn’t be to blame if it’s forgotten for the next shift.
Better leadership, leadership duties divided in a way that the leader can actually manage and do well in. Having a matching 401(k) in the first year would be great.
Better Maternity leave, slightly more affordable medical insurance.The policies are pretty decent for what they are. Workplace culture I would say needs to change when it comes to chronic mess ups and no real consequences for bad behavior or work ethic or the lack thereof.
I would like rules to be enforced more consistently. Management frequently mentions in meetings how important things like being on time are, however the same employees are late on a daily basis and nothing is ever done about it. This can be frustrating to those of us who follow the rules.
Quit playing favorites, provide compensation for policy mandatory uniforms/shoes, fix holiday pay hours, get a better IT system in place and stop getting hacked/phished/etc.

The company does not have it set up for nurses to do pill call effectively. You are required to pre pop all medication prior to administering them. It's a waist of time and medication it offenders do not come to pill call.

You must see every patient that comes into the jail. There are very busy days and you must be able to multi-task.
