Overall the company has a great theory the employee and working at Coty. However they really don't interface a lot with them.
Support from management
At first they are there but if you start to bring up issue's that affect them, then you become a target. Someone that is causing issue's
Teamwork is limited. You are on your own most of the time
Freedom to work independently
This is what they want. Then they don't have to worry able answering questions about why certain problems are going on and what are they doing about it. I would always get an answer like this is the way we always have done it or they are looking into the issue.
You only get pieces of information and if you bring up a problem. Then you are a target as being a trouble marker
Attitude towards older colleagues
I can only say that certain managers feel like your trying to take the position or out perform them
Overall compensation for your work
Your paid for what they think the job is worth (hourly) and they don't increase this pay. Some people worked there for 10 yrs and had not received an increase in pay.
The company does understand that you need time off in balance with work
If you just do your job and don't bring up any issue's or question about why things are the way they are, you'll be able to work there for a long time
Very easy but you can't bring up issue's or question why things are the way they are
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to be open to listening to the employees and act on what they are saying about issue's or opportunities
What I like about the company
If you just do your job and don't cause any issue's, you can grow and move upwards. They also give out great gifts on holidays and certain times of the year
What I dislike about the company
They just want you to be an employee who is there on time, does great work and doesn't cause any issue's
