Suggestions for improvement
- no real change needs to be made, the employees opinions are valued and frequently asked for input
Back in 2007-2010 Cox used to be a great place to work. Once they started all the extreme money saving initiatives they threw valuing an employee right out of the window. All they are concerned with now is the almighty dollar. All the normal stereotypes pervade here: executive leadership doesn't know what's going on at the front line with the actual customers, if it works in paper it must be right. Management is clueless about what their employees job function actually is, technical knowledge on the front line of business customers support is scarce. Rampant sexism, discrimination and mysogynistic managers are in most departments here. Ability to advance depends on who you know otherwise you are pigeon-holed in the same job for the tenure of your employment. There is no Union here at this very large MSO so of course wages paid are not equivalent to wages that should be paid.
