Contractors are treated like what accumulates on a stagnant pond.
Suggestions for improvement
- having contractors numbering out out of every 4 workers is destructive, wasteful and sets up a master-peon heirarchy that is at pointed odds with the company's stated values. of course, the values only mention EMPLOYEES.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
at least 25% of the workforce is contract employees. they are treated like tissue paper. employees have great benefits, pay, treatment, etc. contractors are pointedly excluded from company events etc. huge numbers of HB1 visa folks with seriously deficient or nonexistent English skills and very aggressive.
