Fairness and trust are not in the vocabulary of this company. Executive management will pry information from employees and use it against each other.
Support from management
Employee input is listened to, but not heard. An individual's personal needs/wishes are predetermined by managements opinion of the individual. This company openly chooses favorites whom are treated much differently.
A lot of conflict between staff and management due to the micromanagement from executive management.
Freedom to work independently
Workload is piled heavier on hard working people without gratitude or better benefits. While lesser hard working individuals shortcomings are ignored.
Communication is lacking between executive management and supervisory management. Details about certain projects will be given to employees via improper channels and neglected to mention to all proper individuals. There is a lot of confusion and chaos because of this.
Advancement is only available if you "know people" or are favored.
Overall compensation for your work
Poor salary, terrible health insurance, so-so 401k, annual bonus for salaried employees, Christmas bonus for hourly employees.
Office / Work Environment
Executive management is very good at ensuring each employee has the most up to date hardware and software tools necessary to perform their jobs. However, there is an infatuation with the software program internally designed to perform pos business functions. Employees must be cautious not to offend or upset executive management regarding their "baby".
Too understaffed to make a fair statement regarding this. However, the company is always understaffed. Executive managements hires college kids and pays them pennies compared to current salary trends. Very difficult to keep knowledgeable trained staff.
Employees speak very negatively of company. Mostly executive management.
Job is threatened regularly by executive management.
