Company Culture

Prospective employees be AWARE! If you aren't accepted by the "in-crowd" and you don't take the hint that you are not welcome into "the family", they'll frame you and fire you! Oh! BTW...one toilet seat for what could be as many as 25+ people in the clinic at any given time. It's moldy and toxic!

Support from management

If there's poor communication, how could you possibly get support from management.

Teamwork

You either got it or you don't. Nothing in between.

Freedom to work independently

It's a great learning tool.

Internal Communication

The worse it could be in any workplace!

Gender Equality

Leans toward females.

Attitude towards older colleagues

The elders are respected in their own arena.

Career Development

Come, learn, grow, leave.

Overall compensation for your work

It's non-profit. Low end pay scale.

Office / Work Environment

Dirty! The cleaning crew is a joke and it never improves. Work stations are sometimes shared, parking 3 deep
ex. if you are parked behind someone who needs to leave early, you have to run out and move your vehicle sun, rain, sleet or snow or park in the parking lot belonging to a church ACROSS the street to the north of the clinic.

Environmental Friendliness

Of course, they dispose of biological waste set by specific regulations. However, as far as recycling the large quantities of packaging materials (paper, plastic, Styrofoam, etc. No concern for leaving a mammoth footprint.

Work-Life Balance

Got to give them credit for this! Everyone covers everyone!

Company Image

They try hard to give free medical and dental attention to the eligible underprivileged members of our community.

Job Security

Is there job security anywhere these days? Turnover is noticeable. They'll always be sick people if that makes you feel secure.

Handicapped Accessibility

NO, I do not believe so!

Workplace Safety

It's a challenge with so many people and patients in small spaces.

Challenging Work

Challenging work is GOOD! There's plenty to learn, including a second language...Spanish.

Inclusive / Diverse

If you include staff and volunteers in this category, I would say "absolutely"! 35+ staff members, 150+ volunteers for 6,800 patients in 2 clinics.

Suggestions for improvement

  • More qualified upper management.

What I like about the company

The doctors, the nurses, the patients.

What I dislike about the company

Moldy and toxic.
