Fair at best.
Support from management
Ok-at first, directs people to their supervisor-no right to privacy.
Too much gossiping and backbiting. I stayed out of it-hence why I am not there.
Freedom to work independently
On certain things-however, simple things my co-worker would rearrange or do by herself.
Never explained-said do this, or do that-or did herself. I always had to find her usually talking with her friends-leaving me trying to locate her.
I worked with mostly women-like anywhere if you don't know the right person or if you are not liked by the right person then your on the outs.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older workers were hired-but like most places only a chosen few really mattered.
My position was a dead end-because of the person I worked with-A type A that did everything-"it was what it is".
Overall compensation for your work
My job title and pay scale changed-my pay scale was change was unknown to me-until I looked over my pay stub.
Office / Work Environment
Too hot-much too hot and one of the drains smelled like a sewer or dirty feet.
If there was I did not see it-not even for the cardboard boxes-that we had from stock.
People took off-no one was set in place to fill the void for the person out that day-they pulled from other areas.
Not sure about the image-so much.
Secure if a person wants to stay-however not worth the aggravation of a vicious gossiper or two.
Too many things on floor such as water-food etc.
No-the food was always dry-and hardly eaten-more food was wasted or thrown away then used properly.
Inclusive / Diverse
They will listen and do the opposite-this company strongly needs cameras in the kitchen and classrooms-I think they would be surprised at what is happening.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get cameras in the classrooms-and soon.
