Suggestions for improvement
- Individual offices, more window offices. Better lighting. Stand up desks for everyone. Ball chairs. Higher pay or experience based pay. More freedom to better serve clients without strict policies being barriers
What I like about the company
Management is supportive, the work environment is overall positive even though the job we do is very stressful. Employees are overall positive. Benefits are great. The company offers and engagement committee which focuses on being positive and doing things (engaging employees) to make the workplace a little happier. The company also has a wellness committee which is in the process of developing an onsite fitness station. Currently there are onsite weighted hula hoops and fit kits that can be checked out to use on campus or to be taken home to use.
What I dislike about the company
Pay is low and experience is not taken into consideration when hiring.
Being government, everything has a process and must be approved by many different people. This limits the things we are able to do.
