Suggestions for improvement
- Value the experience of long term employees. They know what needs to be done and are the best resource a company can have. They're on the "front lines" and have invaluable insight into what works and what doesn't. They can also pass that knowledge on to newer employees thus allowing the company to keep the knowledge these employees have gained even when they leave.
What I like about the company
It has generous end of year bonuses for all full time employees, pays at least half of medical/vision/dental premiums for those enrolled, is part of free counselling service for those employees who need such services.
What I dislike about the company
The trend is for long term employees to be assigned to areas where meeting standard is very difficult if not impossible thus giving the company just cause to terminate them. Also, unless an injured employee has representation, the company will not accommodate the injury though in most cases it's entirely feasable. Also some members of management seem to have "favorites", those employees who can flaunt or even disregard the rules without fear of disciplinary action. Bottom line is if the company continues this trend of terminating experienced employees, it will become a place to work until something better comes along.
