Suggestions for improvement
- I would enforce employee breaks. Otherwise, with the workload and pace, employees feel pressured not to take breaks and it's easy to get burned out and resentful. I would have a lunch room large enough to accommodate the employees. I would have break time for nurses blocked out the way block time for doctors is blocked out. I would give better raises.
What I like about the company
The doctor who runs Crystal Run is accessible and has a good heart. The doctors (and on site manager) I work for are wonderful. I've had the opportunity to get my feet wet as a new nurse. My manager has faith in me and has given me opportunities to take an and learn to handle new tasks. (How's that for a positive spin?). I do very much appreciate my nurse manager. It's not her fault that she, like the rest of us, are at the mercy of a large entity with many employees and the human nature pitfalls that come with it. The doctor in charge is really a good guy. There are just pitfalls to be worked out in order to avoid staff leaving
