Support from management
No, I was in a supervisor position for customer service and you could not manage your team properly due to staffing issues.
The other supervisors and I worked together pretty well. We had disagreements, but every has there own opinion on things so its bound to happen at any company.
Freedom to work independently
You are trusted to work independently with someone looking over your should all day.
Many times we were not in the loop of things and it made it hard to assist customers as well as team members.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They hirer older people, but in customer service if they do not pick up on the material they are let go even before training is complete.
Overall compensation for your work
I would say no, the pressure in completing your work as well as working as an agent could be very overwhelming at times.
Office / Work Environment
I loved the building and environment of all the other departments.
They take family into consideration to a certain extent. There was time where management was FORCED to do 10 hour shifts on salary pay.
There was a point in time where I was very proud to work for the company and that fell below the wayside after too many unresolved issues.
I felt that it was stable until people began to be fired including HR and then an overhaul took place where people including myself were left go since the company is going public. They have a track record of that.
They have ramps and several handicap parking spots.
No there has been no training, but they did make changes to ensure better protection for the employees.
Inclusive / Diverse
It seemed in a way that they were only hiring bilinguals and would work with thier needs more because they needed them to keep the call volume down.
