Please note, I will not give names, but, the manager that I reported to had NO MANAGEMENT skills, the manager changed the rules to suit the moments issue, I could have completed all work in HALF the time that it took to get done had I been left alone to do it. When my assignment was completed I knew that I had never worked as hard in my life ANYWHERE than I had at CVPF. I knew that due to some of the changes that I had to make because of this managers input, that the department was not fully compliant with regulations. I provided feedback to this managers superiors and they did NOTHING about the situation. Several employees prior to my time there and since my time there have lost or given up their jobs because of this manager.
Suggestions for improvement
- Have HR and Senior level staff CLOSELY monitor and provide training for managers so that they can perform their jobs appropriately. OR, Have senior management terminate employees who do not have the skill levels to perform their jobs satisfactorily.
