Company Culture

Favoritism was the rule of thumb by upper management.

Support from management

This might have changed but prior to the buyout by On Assignment, the leadership was poor.

Teamwork

Very little collaborative efforts. Every man/woman for himself/herself.

Freedom to work independently

As long as you are making them enough money, they leave you alone. If you aren't doing that, you will be micromanaged.

Attitude towards older colleagues

The younger, the better in this churn and burn environment.

Career Development

This is a place to go to the school of hard knocks to learn about recruiting and move on after 1-2 years.

Overall compensation for your work

Draw vs. commission structure and upper management cut the commissions to compensate the middle managers.

Office / Work Environment

Cubicle farm.

Job Security

As long as you are making the company money, they will keep you around. 1-2 bad quarters and you are gone.

Inclusive / Diverse

Exchange of ideas with upper management wasn't encouraged.

  • The big one was already made - change of upper management.

What I like about the company

Good money to be made when the economy is doing well.

What I dislike about the company

Poor leadership from upper management prior to the merger with On Assignment.
