Company Culture

My coworkers are okay, the department is small so you have to get along or be ostracized

Teamwork

Between coworkers yes, management to ops is a no

Freedom to work independently

I’m very rarely questioned about my work

Internal Communication

Minimal discussion between leadership and ops

Gender Equality

I have no issues with management being biased against women

Attitude towards older colleagues

The age range is fairly mixed in al departments

Career Development

Talks about expansion and growth is frequent but actual action towards implementation isn’t

Office / Work Environment

No issues here

Environmental Friendliness

As much as they can while being a hospital

Work-Life Balance

Overtime is never expected or required, commute is horrible

Company Image

What we do is very important

Workplace Safety

Training always performed by other employees never management

Challenging Work

Relatively mundane and repetitive

Inclusive / Diverse

Ideas are heard but not necessarily accepted

Suggestions for improvement

  • Opening up better paying managerial positions for current employees instead of always hiring externally

What I like about the company

My coworkers will break their backs to make sure you can get your job done. The doctors and nurses are understanding and the patients are grateful.

What I dislike about the company

There is little room for growth

Company Culture

My team is very collaborative

Office / Work Environment

The office is always quite cold

Work-Life Balance

Work life balance is important to the manager

Challenging Work

There is always something that needs to be resolved or fixed.

Suggestions for improvement

  • The office thermostats should have control over the space. There should be more managerial support. Some teams continue to grow in size and new managers are not added to account for it.

What I like about the company

I have had great managers in my time here that have helped me grow in my field and as a person. I enjoy feeling as though I’m impacting lives with my work here.

What I dislike about the company

The compensation could be a little more comparable. The city is an expensive place to live and some “entry level” jobs should not be categorized as such.
